We are seeking someone with a strong work ethic who takes pride in delivering materials safely and on time.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle. Transport materials and equipment to job sites. Secure loads and perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections. Maintain accurate logs and required documentation. Assist with loading and unloading when needed. Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies. Communicate effectively with dispatch and project managers. Perform general laborer duties when driving is not required. Assist with loading, unloading, material handling, job-site cleanup, and other labor duties as needed. Assist shop crews with tools, materials, equipment, and other tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Important Job Expectation:
This is a CDL Driver/Laborer position, not a driving-only position . While the primary responsibility of the position is CDL driving, there may be days or periods when driving is not needed. During these times, the employee is expected to remain productive and assist with general laborer, or shop as directed by management. Employees must be willing to perform physical labor, assist other employees and crews, handle materials, clean work areas, and help wherever needed when they are not actively performing driving duties.
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL. Clean driving record. Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening. Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors as needed. Willingness to perform both driving and general labor duties. Experience hauling steel, equipment, or construction materials is preferred but not required.
