Job Description

Job Summary We are hiring a dependable Box Truck Driver for a W-2 employee position to transport freight across the continental United States. This role involves long-distance travel, extended time on the road, and flexible scheduling. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable with cross-country driving. Responsibilities Operate a 26' box truck safely on long-haul and cross-country routes Transport and deliver freight to locations nationwide in a timely manner Load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent damage during transit Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery paperwork, and mileage records Follow all DOT, federal, state, and company safety regulations Communicate effectively with co-workers regarding routes, schedules, and delays Keep assigned vehicle clean and report maintenance issues promptly Represent the company professionally at pickup and delivery locations Complete expense report after each trip Requirements Valid U.S. driver's license, CDL preferred, but not required Ability and willingness to travel nationwide for extended periods Ability and willingness to assist with warehouse duties when not on the road Clean driving record Prior box truck or commercial driving experience preferred Ability to lift and move freight (up to 50 lbs) Strong time-management and attention to detail Ability to adapt to schedule changes Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented Ability to pass background check and drug screening Ability to pass DOT physical Ability to use a computer and Excel to complete expense reports Schedule & Travel Nationwide travel across the U.S. Extended trips away from home required. Trips typically take 1- 2 days.
