Overview We are looking to hire a professional Class A driver with experience transporting heavy equipment. This position is for a landoll setup but can turn into a lowboy position. We have quality equipment, a well maintained fleet. We keep our trucks running properly. Must be motivated to learn and grow, with a positive attitude. This is a regional position, mostly local work with occasional long distance runs that require overnight stay in hotel(paid for). Mostly Monday-Friday, occasional weekend runs if wanted. There will be early mornings and late nights, there is not a set schedule, plenty of overtime. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic that is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Pay is based on skills/experience. 40 hour gurantee, overtime over 40. Paid vacation, Health, dental, vision insurance available. Life insurance, boot allowance provided after 90 days. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with a valid CDL A license to deliver equipment to designated locations. Perform delivery driving duties, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Handle truck loading and unloading, including securing equipment properly for transport. Drive trucks equipped with manual transmissions, demonstrating proficiency in shifting gears and handling vehicle controls. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company policies. Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transportation activities. Communicate effectively with dispatcher and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit. Skills Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record 2 years experience driving manual trucks and transporting heavy equipment. Lowboy experience preferred Mechanical experience is a plus Must be able to keep the truck clean/maintained! Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and transportation regulations. Ability to load and unload equipment efficiently and securely. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
