Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate different types of trucks, including but not limited to Flatbed trailers as well as Curtain Vans. Duties Safely operate and drive trucks to transport freight to designated locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials when transporting tankers or specialized freight. Assist in route planning to optimize delivery efficiency. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Proven experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record. Familiarity with various types of trucks including curtain trailers, flatbeds. Strong time management skills with the ability to adhere to tight schedules. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Must pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies.
