Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Quad Axle Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty quad axle dump trucks to transport materials across construction sites, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help keep projects on schedule while maintaining the highest safety and operational standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about construction logistics, heavy equipment operation, and site development. Duties Safely operate quad axle dump trucks to haul dirt, gravel, asphalt, and other construction materials across various sites. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck and trailer, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition and compliant with safety regulations. Maintain accurate logs of loads delivered, mileage, and fuel consumption in accordance with federal construction safety regulations. Assist with basic maintenance and mechanical checks on the truck and related equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Coordinate with site managers and utility locating teams to ensure proper placement of underground utilities before excavation or paving work begins. Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation, construction grading, excavation, paving, and utility work. Support other construction activities such as loader operation, backhoe handling, or water truck duties as needed to facilitate project progress. Experience Proven experience operating commercial trucks, specifically quad axle dump trucks, within a construction environment. Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation including loaders, excavators, graders, backhoes, and water trucks. Familiarity with construction machinery maintenance routines and safety procedures for heavy equipment. Understanding of horizontal drilling techniques, paving processes, and site grading operations. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures is essential. Prior experience working on large-scale construction sites with a focus on utility work or excavation projects is highly preferred. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; additional certifications in heavy machinery operation are advantageous. Pay:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 65.0 per week
