Job Summary The Service Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on boats, RVs, vehicles, equipment, and facilities. This position also assists with moving boats and equipment and ensuring work is completed safely and correctly. Responsibilities Perform repairs and routine maintenance on boats, RVs, vehicles, and equipment. Complete basic boat service including oil changes, winterization, impeller replacement, and battery maintenance. Inspect boats and equipment and document completed work. Identify needed repairs and locate or order necessary parts. Check batteries, lights, tires, fuel levels, and safety equipment. Move and maneuver boats, trailers, and RVs using forklifts and other equipment. Clean and prepare customer boats as needed. Perform quality checks on completed work. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Valid California driver's license and clean driving record. 3+ years of experience repairing or maintaining boats, or engines. Marine repair experience preferred, particularly with Mercury or Yamaha. Forklift experience preferred. Ability to tow and maneuver boats and trailers. Strong mechanical and problem solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the workday. Ability to work weekends, holidays, or overtime when needed. Must pass required background check and drug testing. Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
