General Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving a van & trailer, setting up & tearing down audio & lighting equipment. This role requires a strong work ethic, a valid drivers license & experience driving & backing up with trailers.

The General Technician will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability. Duties Driving a company vehicle of equipment to & from Event sites. Setting up various elements of a live event including audio PA systems, stages & dance floors. Moving & lifting various equipment (e.g., PA, stages, light fixtures). Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop preventive maintenance protocols. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in the audio and/or lighting industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of trailers & trailer hitches. Familiarity with ratchet straps, load bars & other restraining implements. Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments.
