Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) class A Driver to join our transportation team. In this vital role to safely transport freight , and providing excellent customer service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute your professionalism. Duties 2 years Flatbed experience
REQUIRED
Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all state and local driving laws. Transport freight efficiently while following designated routes and schedules. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to verify safety equipment functionality and vehicle condition. Respond quickly to traffic changes or emergencies with appropriate driving techniques such as emergency stop procedures and defensive driving strategies. Communicate effectively with , colleagues, and dispatchers using clear English language skills; handle inquiries professionally. Maintain accurate records of trips, incidents, vehicle inspections, and counts in writing or digital logs. Follow all transportation safety regulations including vehicle codes, traffic laws, and knowledge to ensure compliance at all times. Perform heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading equipment Experience Valid class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate steel hauling experience Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, transportation safety regulations, and emergency response procedures for transportation. Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction Ability to perform quick responses to traffic changes or emergencies while maintaining safety
Pay:
$900.00 - $1,800.00 per week
