This role leads the entire inspection function of an FAA Part 145 repair station handling commercial aircraft landing gear, APUs, and accessories. The right candidate brings extensive Airbus and Boeing landing gear inspection expertise and a history of driving airworthiness, workmanship, and first-pass yield across multiple shops. Quality Control Manager:
10 or more years of inspection experience within FAA Part 145 repair stations Prior tenure as a Chief Inspector or Quality Control Manager Extensive commercial landing gear inspection background, with Airbus and Boeing overhaul knowledge required Proven experience leading and developing inspection teams Deep command of overhaul manuals, approved technical data, and regulatory requirements FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferred Familiarity with calibration programs and non-conforming material control Strong communication skills and attention to detail Responsibilities of the
