Monitors the takeoff and landing routes and schedules for airplanes at a commercial airport or military airbase. Coordinates the movement of large merchant vessels or cruise ships in and out of port.

Job Description
Complete assigned traffic control tasks which include but are not limited to driving a Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA), cone truck, or other support vehicle to specified locations, assist in setting up/taking down lane closures on state highways or other roadways per TXDOT guidelines to provide protection from traffic. Operate a variety of light and heavy equipment involved in construction and maintenance projects. Performs preventive maintenance inspections, routine servicing on equipment. Perform other work-related duties as assigned. Safety and awareness are very important aspects of this position.
