Thank you for your interest in Douglas Parking LLC! Douglas Parking is currently hiring a Parking Enforcement Attendant for a location in San Gabriel, CA 91776. The schedule you would be working is variable 7 days a week, 2 -3 hours a day between 5:00am through 9:00pm. This position calls for enforcing parking regulations and guidelines at the apartment and retail lot, tracking and issuing tickets as needed to all violators. A brief description of some of the job duties are below:

• Patrol parking facility, and issue citations in a manner that promotes positive interaction with merchants, tenants, and visitors.
• Enforce and issue citations according to the facility parking regulations and applicable state and city laws, ordinances, codes and regulations.
• Respond to requests and inquiries from the general public and investigate parking related issues
• Address parking violators, informing them of the infraction and requesting they correct the violation. If needed, issue violation notice(s) and arrange for violating vehicle to be towed.
• Prepare and maintain records, report on violations, and report a daily log of activities.
• Provide guidance and assistance as needed to all parkers onsite.
• The parking enforcement attendant should be able to pay attention to detail to properly monitor parking areas.
• The parking enforcement attendant will need observation skills to recognize vehicles that have been parked beyond allotted and paid times.
• The parking enforcement attendant should be physically fit to stand and walk for extended periods while issuing non-compliant vehicle citations, in different weather conditions.
• The parking enforcement attendant will use technology (smartphone, tablet, computer, belt-mounted printer, etc.) to issue citations to vehicles parked in violation of site policies.
• Ensure positive experiences for all property tenants and visitors.
• Ensure the work area is maintained to Douglas Parking/client standards.
• Responsible for assisting site management and security when required, directing traffic within the site including providing directions and pay instructions to tenants, visitors, staff, and others.
• Responsible for adhering to all company policies and procedures
• Must adhere to proper grooming standards per company policy.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Customer service savvy with an ability to avoid or diffuse situations with agitated customers.
• Must be reliable and on-time.

The parking enforcement attendant is by him/herself most of the day. There is support from the onsite security and the Point of Contact Manager is available in person. The parking enforcement attendant will need to be strong-willed, have thick skin, and able to communicate effectively with those who do not understand the parking rules of the site. The attendant is not to engage with any rude or belligerent customers, those situations are to be brought up to the onsite security's attention. If you are interested, please supply us with a resumé.
