Pelican Lakes Golf Course
JOB OVERVIEW
The Outside Service Attendant is responsible for working on a team or independently performing a wide range of duties that allow the golf course to run effectively. These duties may include cleaning golf carts, maintenance of the range, and providing service for customers. Individual conducts them self in a professional manner and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Requires knowledge of Pelican Lakes Golf Club's company policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for the management of carts, consisting of cleaning, stocking, and rotating carts throughout their shifts. Responsible for picking the range, cleaning range balls, and keeping the range and ball machine stocked. Understand how to store, charge, and pull out carts from the cart barn. Keep cart barn clean and organized on an hourly basis Empty all trash bins at the end of the day before the course is shut down. Help stage carts during tournaments and assist in any other duties assigned to them. Help with shuttling golfers or customers to necessary places on the course in a safe manner. Monitors & maintains an attractive and orderly appearance in and around the cart barn. Self- Motivated with the desire to be service and customer-focused with a professional attitude and appearance. Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all company policies, services, procedures & standards. Demonstrates professional behavior and work ethic. Must have a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping. Must be able to stand for extended periods. Must be able to operate a golf cart and other equipment safely. Normal vision and hearing ranges required. Able to work outdoors in cold or hot weather. Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
