Job Description

Highland Woods Golf Course , located in Hoffman Estates, IL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Cart Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Pay Range:
$15.00- $16.00 per hour
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:
Must be organized, efficient and detail oriented. Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with guests and fellow workers. Dependable, with a good work ethic. Golf knowledge is desirable. Valid driver's license (if driving carts).
Responsibilities:
Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot. Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings. Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning. Provide a memorable guest experience. Must be team oriented. Maintain a professional appearance. Brings golf carts from cart barn to cart staging area outside the golf shop. Load bags onto a cart(s). Load rental clubs onto a cart(s) as needed. Greets guests at designated bag drop area and loads bags onto carts. Gives directions to guests for the golf shop, first tee, driving range, etc. Transports range balls to the driving range and fill appropriate containers. Operates range picker on the range to retrieve balls. Returns carts to cart barn and wash carts with a pressure cleaner, parks carts in designated spaces, and connects. charger cables (where applicable) in a safe manner to avoid damage. Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Working Conditions:
While performing the required duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with arms and hands. The employee often is required to walk, stand, talk or hear, handle, feel or operate objects. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionally. The employee will occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception. Moderate exposure to heat, working outdoors, mechanical hazards, and electrical hazards.
Extra Information:
Cart Attendant - Hours are 2pm until sunset. 1 weekend day required. Applicants must be available to work through December, or until the end of the golf season.
