Job Description

In this role, you will • Safely assist passengers from their pickup location to their drop-off location, whether they are ambulatory or wheelchair/disabled clients Safely operate the company's Vehicles in the designated service areas, including cities and rural areas, under various weather conditions Utlize Google Maps for route planning and the dispatching app to navigate to client locations Review the ride/route schedule daily ( the day before and the morning of) to identify any changes and ensure a timely start to the day Communicate with dispatch or supervisor immediatley if any client delays occur within 5 minutes after pickup time. Wait up to 15 minutes additional minutes for the client before departing Inform dispatch or the supervisor of any road delays encountered so they can notify the next client on the schedule Job Requirments Must Pass a
NETSTUDY 2.0
state/federal background check and fingerprinting (If Requried) Maintain a valid MN Driver's License with NO DWI and an acceptable driving record Must Pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical Possess a smartphone with a data plan to operate the route driver program and Google Maps Ability to commit to a consistent schedule ( Morning/Afternoon/Evening) based on your availability for 12 months Complete DOT STS training within 45 days of hire date provided by MLS Rides and complete vehicle inspections Frst-Aid and CPR certified (training proved by MLS Rides) Must be available for one or two weekends a month - Required! Skills to be successful in this role Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact with people from various cultures and backgrounds Create a positive, friendly, understanding, and helpful atmosphere for clients Assist clients with any emergency scheduling needs that arise while they are in the vehicle Must be able to maintain appropriate boundaries as outlined in the handbook Provide quality door-to-door service Benefits Company Vehicle while performing your assigned duties Flexible Schedule (Casual / Part-Time/ On Call)

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
