Role:
3 Lions Logistics is looking for a dependable On-Call Sprinter Van Driver to support our operations on a flexible, part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is semi-retired or retired and looking for occasional work to stay active while helping move freight across the region. You'll be responsible for transporting goods safely and on time, with clear communication at all stages of the job. Flexibility and reliability are key, as assignments may come with short notice.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a company temp controlled sprinter van to transport freight as assigned. Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Load and unload freight when required. Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates. Complete trip logs and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of driving experience (commercial or non-commercial). Clean driving record (MVR check required). Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy. Good understanding of English with the ability to communicate clearly. Ability to handle light-to-moderate freight when needed. Flexibility to work on-call, sometimes with short notice.
Preferred:
Prior experience in logistics, courier, or delivery driving. Familiarity with the New England region.
Schedule & Pay:
Part-time, on-call (work as needed, not set hours). Flexible schedule - perfect for retirees or individuals seeking extra income. Competitive hourly pay (rate discussed at interview).
