Shuttle Van Driver

Responsibilities Safely operate our shuttle van passengers and luggage to Cornell University, Ithaca College and the airport. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and support as needed Conduct routine vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and overall safety equipment Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs Communicate clearly with our associates and passengers using radio or other communication devices to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly Perform light maintenance tasks such as refueling, cleaning the vehicle interior/exterior, and reporting mechanical concerns to maintenance teams Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times Help with delivery of amenities to guests rooms at their request. Skills Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving or similar commercial driving roles Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers or handling cargo as needed Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues early Excellent driving record with experience preferred Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor Valid driver's license This position offers an engaging work environment where your driving skills make a real difference!
