Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Rollback Driver, where your expertise in vehicle recovery and towing will keep our operations moving smoothly. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting, loading, and unloading vehicles using a flatbed tow truck or rollback. Your mechanical knowledge and automotive diagnostics skills will ensure vehicles are handled with care, while your customer service attitude will foster positive interactions with clients. Duties Safely operate a tow truck or rollback to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles, including cars and trucks. Secure vehicles onto flatbeds or tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Perform basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to ensure operational readiness before towing. Conduct vehicle inspections to assess mechanical condition, identify issues, and determine appropriate recovery procedures. Load and unload vehicles with precision, adhering to safety standards and ensuring safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks. Manage vehicle recovery towing operations efficiently while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, or mechanic work with a solid understanding of vehicle mechanics for truck drivers. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving preferred. Hands-on experience with flatbed tow trucks or rollback recovery equipment. Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques. Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs and basic vehicle troubleshooting effectively. Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally. Familiarity with car towing, vehicle recovery towing, and safe driving practices for commercial vehicles.
