Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Experience a rewarding opportunity in Ione, CA—nestled amid the scenic foothills of California's Gold Country and just a short drive to New Hogan Lake, renowned for fishing, boating, and outdoor exploration. This picturesque region offers the chance to unwind in nature and discover historic sites like the famous California Caverns—all within reach during your downtime. This travel assignment provides a unique platform to enhance your skills as a Radiology Tech, with exposure to both general radiology and advanced CT imaging in a critical access hospital setting. By collaborating with diverse healthcare professionals and adapting to various departmental workflows, you'll broaden your clinical competencies and strengthen your resume for future roles in radiology.
Schedule/Hours:
Call may be required one day per week from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM the following day Holidays and weekends required
Key Qualifications:
ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) credentials required Fluoroscopy and IV certification required Prior experience in both general radiology and CT preferred Ability to complete area-specific, online, and on-site orientation modules Willingness to work flexible shifts, including call, weekends, and holidays
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of diagnostic radiology and CT procedures for acute, outpatient, and emergency care patients Utilize Alaris IV pumps, GE cardiac monitors, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Meditech EMR Adhere to facility safety standards, infection control protocols, and proper use of equipment Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and accurate documentation Complete required competencies and participate in ongoing training, including hands-on and workplace violence modules
