Key Qualifications:

Current, unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year experience in an ER/ED setting Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred Sound clinical judgment and ability to remain composed during high-pressure scenarios Proficiency with electronic medical records and effective communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess, triage, and provide immediate care for patients presenting with urgent or life-threatening conditions Initiate IVs, administer medications, and monitor vital signs Operate emergency medical equipment and support code situations Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and technicians for optimal patient outcomes Meticulously document patient history, care, and response to treatment within EMR systems Educate patients and families about care plans, procedures, and follow-up steps
