Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Travel Deliver high-quality patient care in a hospital emergency department, drawing on your expertise as a Registered Nurse with ER experience. This contract role is designed for an RN who thrives in high-acuity environments and possesses a calm, decisive approach to urgent medical situations.
Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an Emergency Room setting Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to fast-paced scenarios Knowledge of emergency protocols and triage procedures
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time contract with variable shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing interventions for emergency and trauma patients Triage and prioritize patient needs based on severity and urgency Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures as ordered Monitor patients' conditions and respond quickly to changes in status Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes Document care accurately and comply with all hospital and regulatory standards
