Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Travel As an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care, you'll deliver compassionate and efficient nursing services to patients in a fast-paced clinical environment. This is a contract opportunity ideal for those who are skilled in managing diverse and urgent medical situations.
Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN license Minimum 1 year of recent ER nursing experience Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications Exceptional assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, support staff, and other healthcare professionals Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries in the Emergency Department Accurately assess, triage, and monitor patients, prioritizing care based on medical urgency Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures per protocols and provider orders Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of patient care Respond rapidly and effectively to code situations or medical emergencies Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and follow-up care instructions Adhere to evidence-based practices, patient safety, and infection control standards This role offers the opportunity to expand your expertise in emergency medicine while working alongside a dedicated and skilled healthcare team.
