Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Step into a dynamic healthcare environment specializing in advanced imaging services. This contract opportunity focuses on MRI imaging at a high-volume regional hospital supporting a diverse patient population across 11 counties. You'll work with cutting-edge technology in a state-of-the-art, 295-bed acute care facility known for excellence in cardiac care, neurosurgery, and accredited spine services.
Desired Expertise and Certifications:
Demonstrated experience operating MRI imaging equipment in a hospital or acute care setting Valid credentials as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in MRI; additional certifications may be required based on facility protocols Proven compliance with up-to-date certification requirements (requirements subject to change per updated facility checklists) Strong understanding of imaging safety practices and patient care standards Excellent communication and organizational skills
Schedule:
Orientation held weekly on Mondays Flexible shift scheduling may be available based on department needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Acquire high-quality MRI images according to prescribed protocols and physician orders Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout the process Adhere to all infection control, privacy, and facility safety regulations Collaborate effectively with radiology, nursing, and medical staff to deliver superior patient care Maintain accurate records and assist with quality assurance procedures as required Why Consider This Role?
