Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current and valid Occupational Therapist license Experience in an acute hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred Strong knowledge of therapy techniques, assessments, and interventions Proficient in documentation and patient care planning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position with consistent scheduling (details provided during interview)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations for patients with neurological, orthopedic, and complex conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve functional independence Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality, patient-centered care Maintain accurate records of patient progress and outcomes Utilize advanced therapy equipment and state-of-the-art gym facilities Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques, home programs, and follow-up care Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development opportunities
