Job Description

This travel opportunity is perfect for experienced Respiratory Therapists ready to step up in a professionally rewarding, fast-paced environment. You'll gain hands-on experience across multiple care areas, including emergency, surgical, and post-operative patients, and contribute meaningfully to critical response teams.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour night shifts 36 hours guaranteed weekly Every other weekend required 13-week assignment
Qualifications:
Current RRT with at least 2-3 years' recent experience or CRT with 5-7 years' acute care experience Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required); NRP preferred Must hold a valid driver's license and live at least 50 miles away from the facility Cannot hold any active employment (full-time, part-time, or PRN) with CommonSpirit Health or affiliates Compliance with fingernail policy—no artificial nails permitted in patient care areas Demonstrated independence and clinical competence with broad patient populations
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive general respiratory care in all hospital care areas Perform respiratory treatments, including nebulizer administration and ventilator management Respond to rapid response and code blue situations Deliver age-appropriate care, accurately assess patients, and communicate effective treatment plans
