Responsibilities:

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of surgical procedures and proactively solve challenges during cases Verify supplies and equipment using physician preference cards, ensuring accurate patient-related inventory management Properly use, assemble, clean, and sterilize all surgical equipment and disposables Confirm all necessary instruments are sterile, assembled correctly, and ready prior to each procedure Maintain and vigilantly monitor the sterile field, promptly recognizing and addressing breaks in sterile technique Set up sterile fields efficiently, and meticulously account for medications, instruments, sponges, and sharps throughout the procedure

Qualifications:

Proven experience or certification as an Operating Room Technologist (ORT) Solid knowledge of sterile technique and OR protocols Ability to remain composed and attentive to detail in high-stress, fast-paced environments Excellent communication and collaboration skills
