Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver/Laborer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks—including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump, flatbed, and tractor-trailers—to transport materials and equipment to designated locations. You will also perform manual labor tasks such as loading and unloading cargo, assisting with site preparations, and ensuring the safe handling of heavy materials. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving expertise with hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the efficient delivery of projects and services. During winter months, snow removal will be required, either in a company truck or tractor with inverted snowblower. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload materials using mechanical knowledge of equipment such as front loaders and other heavy machinery Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and proper functioning Transport goods to job sites or clients efficiently while maintaining timely schedules Assist with manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy items, organizing supplies, and preparing materials for delivery or installation Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance logs Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and uphold safety standards at all times Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience operating manual transmission vehicles Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of driving safety protocols Mechanical knowledge related to truck maintenance and troubleshooting Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions Experience operating specialized trucks such as front loaders, rear loaders, roll-offs, dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers is preferred Familiarity with load & unload procedures for different types of cargo Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail and safety awareness Join our team if you're eager to combine your driving skills with hands-on labor expertise!
