Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, offering attentive and friendly service to enhance their dining experience Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Assist servers with guest needs, including taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring timely service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and dining area to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation Handle guest inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to ensure satisfaction Collaborate with team members to coordinate seating flow during busy hours, maximizing efficiency and guest comfort Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles within a restaurant environment Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in guest services settings Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of serving protocols, guest relations, and hospitality standards to deliver top-tier service Effective phone etiquette skills for managing reservations, inquiries, and guest interactions Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your energy makes every guest feel special!
