Wood Truss Shop

Summertown Metals is looking to staff our new wood truss shop. We are looking for dependable and hard-working individuals to build wood trusses. Job Description:

Truss Shop Build Table Job duties include, but are not limited to: Safely maneuver between cart and build table as they are being loaded. Adhering to company policies and standards. Assuring the proper measurements of chords and webbing complies with print [engineered drawings] Positive communication with other members of the team. Daily production quotas or met, this is achieved with other team members. Following the build table lead instructions and corrective actions as needed. Assist in stocking build table daily for the current or next day's production. Production numbers are met or exceeded. Workforce is accident free. Downtime is kept to a minimum. Quality meets or exceeds customer expectations. The work area is clean and organized.
