Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled professional with expertise in radiology to provide essential diagnostic services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This contract role offers an opportunity to work with advanced technology and a supportive team dedicated to quality patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Every other weekend required Block scheduling available No on-call shifts
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Active ARRT (R) certification Current BLS certification At least 1 year of experience as an X-ray or Radiologic Technologist Proficiency with imaging equipment, including GE units, OEC C-arms, and Carestream Portables Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to safety and patient well-being
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered by healthcare providers Ensure the safe, effective use of imaging equipment, adhering to protocol and best practices Support the care team by preparing patients, explaining procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation Collaborate with other medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition Maintain hygiene, infection control protocols, and confidentiality standards throughout care
