Job Description

### Job Overview We are seeking a Youth Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a Youth Intervention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to at risk youth struggling with behavioral health challenges . This position requires strong mentoring and behavioral health skills, as well as the ability to show patience, empathy and kindness for those you serve. Some of your responsibilities will include working with youth one on one, providing group facilitation, conflict resolution, driving the agency vehicles and other duties as assigned. If you have a passion for working with at risk youth, we encourage you to apply. Training is available. ### Responsibilities
  • Provide behavioral health support to individuals facing behavioral health challenges, including CPST, TBS and group facilitation.
  • Develop and implement intervention plans based on individual needs
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, parents and educators, to create comprehensive support systems
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments to intervention strategies as needed
  • Assist individuals in developing coping mechanisms and life skills
  • Advocate for the rights and well-being of those you serve
  • Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and progress ### Requirements
  • Three years behavioral health experience preferred.
QMHS/QMHS
certification required.
  • Experience working with at risk youth or individuals with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicts and deescalate challenging situations
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong note writing skills
  • Familiarity with EhR systems
  • MUST Possess a valid drivers license with good driving record as you will be driving company vehicles.
  • Pass an FBI/BCI background check
