This role focuses on resolving higher-risk accounts through communication, problem-solving, and strategic follow-up. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of accounts and making a direct impact . Key Responsibilities for the Collections Specialist Manage a portfolio of approximately 100 highly delinquent accounts (200+ days past due) Make 30–50 outbound calls daily to customers regarding outstanding balances Negotiate payment arrangements and drive account resolution Escalate accounts to legal or repossession when appropriate Perform research and skip tracing to locate customers Prioritize accounts based on exposure and risk Maintain accurate documentation of all account activity Qualifications for the Collections Specialist Experience in collections or high-volume customer service Ability to handle challenging conversations professionally Strong problem-solving skills and initiative Ability to manage a full workload independently Preferred Experience for the Collections Specialist Background in commercial collections, equipment finance, or transportation industries Exposure to repossession or legal escalation processes What We're Looking For Strong communicator and people-oriented professional Someone who takes initiative and ownership of their work Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Reliable and team-oriented Why This Role?
