Job Description

Position Summary The primary point of contact for all student billing inquires and processes. Provides billing support to all flight training programs throughout the company. Duties and Responsibilities Reconcile daily flight hours, invoice flight hours, cash account activity and collect payment as necessary On-boarding incoming students into financial systems; certify loans or VA eligibility as needed Reconcile student accounts, process adjustments, deposits and refunds as needed Review graduated or withdrawn student accounts; process refunds when necessary Communicate in-person, electronically and phone with students, the programs and corporate team as needed Review student requests for funds Pull and transmit student tracking reports to the programs Review monthly housing and stipend requests Review VA documentation and communicate to programs when action is required Work as a collaborative member of the accounting team Handle sensitive information confidentially and according to company procedures Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Experience:
2+ years experience using Excel 1+ year of billing experience 1+ year of customer service experience 1+ year experience handling confidential data such as credit card numbers
Skills and Abilities:
General knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across organizational levels Strong analytical skills
Education:
High School diploma Associates or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field (preferred)
