This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with the opportunity to grow into a work-from-home role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Manage insurance accounts receivable (A/R) Investigate and resolve claim denials Navigate online insurance portals Perform accurate charge entry Handle patient billing inquiries professionally and courteously Multitask efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy Collaborate effectively with physicians and office staff

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of medical insurance billing and collections experience Strong knowledge of Medicare, commercial insurance plans, ICD-10 coding, and medical billing processes Experience with eClinicalWorks Practice Management system preferred Pulmonary practice experience is a strong plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks Professional, personable, and dependable Team-oriented with a commitment to long-term employment We offer the opportunity to join a supportive, established practice, with potential for a remote work arrangement based on performance and business needs.
