We are looking for an ambitious, credentialed Operations Manager to serve as the founder's right hand and run the back end of our practice and our TMP brand. You bring strong billing and coding expertise, and you use it to keep our operations accurate, compliant, and running smoothly. Here is how the partnership works: the founder identifies and secures grants and contracts, writes them, and builds the processes. You manage and execute the back end of what she builds, owning the day-to-day operations, billing and claims, and the ongoing management, compliance, and reporting that keep those grants, contracts, and the practice healthy. The right person does not wait to be told what to do. You take ownership, you keep the systems running without being reminded, and you follow through consistently. What You'll Do Serve as the founder's right hand and manage the back-end operations of the practice and the TMP brand Own billing and coding: enter and manage claims, verify insurance, ensure accurate coding and correct pay source (self-pay vs. insurance), and resolve billing issues Keep daily practice operations running smoothly: front office, client inquiries and scheduling, the intake process, and reporting Manage the back end of grants and contracts the founder secures, including deliverables, deadlines, compliance documentation, and reporting Maintain the systems and processes the founder builds, and keep them running consistently Support additional business projects and brand initiatives on the execution side Assist with training and onboarding team members and interns Handle note-taking, meeting minutes, and documentation Provide phenomenal customer service to clients and partners Juggle multiple priorities and keep everything moving without letting details slip What We're Looking For Medical billing and coding certification required (for example CPC, CPB, CCS, or equivalent), with hands-on billing and coding experience Extremely organized, with the ability to multitask across competing priorities without dropping the ball Accountable, responsible, and responsive. You own outcomes and follow through consistently, without oversight. Ambitious and self-driven, comfortable managing the back end of processes others build Phenomenal customer service and communication skills Experience with insurance verification, claims, and accurate coding, ideally in a behavioral health or medical setting Comfort learning and using our practice and business systems (EHR, etc.) Sound judgment and discretion with confidential information (HIPAA) Resides in Virginia and able to work a hybrid schedule, coming on-site as needed 2 years experience min.
