Job Description
- Description
- As a member of the Finance Department, the Electronic Billing (E-Billing) Specialist is responsible for processing client bills, answering billing inquiries and assisting in the monitoring and follow-up of related billing functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- + Submit invoices through the e-billing system and document progress within the eHub and eBilling Tracker.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
- + Other accounting duties and special projects, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
(EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLSAND ABILITIES
):Education:
- + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial Analysis, Management or related field, preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- + Minimum or three years' e-billing experience in a law firm (preferred) or other professional services organization required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- + Ability to utilize various vendor websites and BillBlast system for electronic billing.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
