The Office of Finance and Administration, Department of Court Facilities, Division of Real Property has an opening for a Facilities Coordinator in Franklin County. The Facilities Coordinator is responsible For Overseeing the Operations and Maintenance of Court Facilities, Managing Repair or Replacement Projects, And Leasing Space for Court of Justice Offices Statewide.
Examples of Duties or Responsibilities of This Classification:
Regularly examine and assess the condition of court facilities statewide. Perform space audits as needed. Maintain comprehensive files for each court facility, including floor plans, maintenance and janitorial contracts, background checks for maintenance and janitorial services providers, insurance certificates, warranties, manuals. Act as a liaison between court officials and county officials and employees to ensure court facilities are sufficiently maintained and repairs are completed. Assist court officials, county officials, and professional service providers in resolving facility-related issues. Review requests associated with janitorial and maintenance providers for court facilities and make recommendations. Review auditors' questions regarding regular operating costs for court facilities and make recommendations. Review requests for nonrecurring repairs and quotes submitted by counties and make recommendations. Manage nonrecurring repair or replacement projects for court facilities statewide and authorize reimbursement for completed projects. Review requests for space and make recommendations. Lease property for use of the court of justice. Act as a liaison between the KCOJ occupant and the lessor to ensure leased properties are properly maintained. Obtain and manage janitorial services for private sector leases. Maintain a comprehensive KCOJ occupied space list including data about each property occupied by the KCOJ. Review and approve invoices and payments associated with court facilities and leased premises. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Construction or business-related field
