Job Description

Seeking an administrative support professional who loves to work with the public, is friendly and welcoming, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This Administrative Assistant position will work in both the Paw Paw mental health clinic and Hartford offices to: Process Care Coordination letters on a daily basis. Assist in the completion of the initial and annual financial intake process for customers in our Wraparound program. Determine customer's ability to pay, gathers demographic or program specific information, collect and verify insurance information & obtain releases/consents as needed. Input customer data into the Electronic Medical Record. Scan, review, prepare, organize and maintain customer records. Collect, analyze, and process data for specific Wraparound program reports/grants. Provide switchboard coverage on a rotating basis. Provides general clerical support including efficient typing and copying and distributing materials. Candidates must have a High School Diploma, at least 1 year of relevant clerical experience (preferably in healthcare), ability to type 50wpm, demonstrated ability to implement complex processes to carry out essential functions, and strong communication skills. Typing speed testing will be conducted. Position is full-time (37.5 hours per week).
