Job Description

Seeking an administrative support professional who enjoys working with high level of detail, embraces changing demands, and likes working with the public. This clerical support specialist is responsible for preparing detailed correspondence with frequently changing needs that offers a challenge to organize and ensure accuracy. Requires a professional who thrives in a flexible work environment and is comfortable working with the public. This clerical support specialist position will work in our Paw Paw clinics to provide: Accurate and timely processing of Adverse Benefit Determination Notices. Intake for customers in need of or requesting agency services, including completion and distribution of required intake forms appropriately and in a timely manner. Assistance with the financial intake process including determining the customer's ability to pay; gathering information; collecting insurance information, and obtaining releases. Receipt of monies from customers .
Reception:
Answering calls, scheduling appointments and greeting the public. Assistance to customers in completing required intake forms and distributing appropriately. Data entry and word processing services and general clerical support including faxing, filing, copying, sorting, distributing and scanning. Candidates must have a High School Diploma, at least 1 year of relevant clerical experience (preferably in healthcare), ability to type 50wpm, and strong communication skills. Typing speed testing will be conducted. Position is full-time (37.5 hours per week).
