Overview Solo criminal defense attorney seeking a dynamic and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations, enhance productivity, and ensure seamless communication with clients and others. Client must have enthusiasm, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive attitude to help our organization run smoothly. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to develop their administrative expertise in a fast-paced environment, providing essential support that keeps our team moving forward. Responsibilities Manage front desk duties including greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and directing calls with professional phone etiquette Handle data entry tasks accurately using spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other productivity software Maintain organized filing systems and ensure all documents are properly stored and easily accessible Support office management tasks such as calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings Assist with bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks or similar accounting software to track expenses and invoices Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and supporting client communication efforts Perform clerical duties including proofreading documents, word processing, and managing correspondence Qualifications Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with a strong background in clerical tasks and customer support Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, data entry skills, and use and management of digital media Familiarity with QuickBooks or other bookkeeping software is highly desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment Strong computer literacy and technical proficiency across various productivity tools and office equipment Demonstrated professionalism with excellent phone etiquette, proofreading skills, and attention to detail
