Guided by a strong "Commitment to Excellence," the team oversees all aspects of project management from planning through completion. Cummings Construction Corporation's portfolio includes retail spaces, convenience stores, office and medical buildings, automotive shops, car washes, warehouses, gymnasiums, and sports complexes, offering team members exposure to diverse project types. Role Description The Administrative Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Matthews, NC, supporting daily office operations and project teams. Responsibilities include managing phone calls and front-desk communications, organizing documents and records. The role involves preparing correspondence and basic reports, processing mail, and assisting with data entry related to projects, vendors, and clients. The Administrative Assistant will support leaders with executive administrative tasks as needed, coordinate office supplies and equipment, and contribute to a professional, organized office environment. Qualifications Strong Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills, with experience supporting managers or project leaders. Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with clients, vendors, and team members. Solid Clerical Skills, such as filing, data entry, document preparation, and basic recordkeeping. Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools) and comfort learning new systems. High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines and work independently as well as part of a team. Positive, collaborative attitude and ability to work on-site in a fast-paced construction office environment. Prior experience in construction, real estate, or related industries is beneficial but not required. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or business coursework is a plus.
Schedule:
Full Time, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours.Pay:
