Job Description
This role will prov ide oversight and support in day-to-day functions and operations of the campus. This role serves as the extended day representative for campus operations. 1. Provides detailed information requiring interpretation of guidelines regarding department's programs and policies; responds to inquiries by phone or in person; researches and resolves problems and complaints. 2. Maintains discretion and confidentiality in all work and interactions. 3. Keeps inventory of supplies & materials, including personal protective equipment stored by campus administration, and disperse as needed. 4. Assesses storage capacity and needs, has knowledge of stored items, their owners, and understands campus record-keeping. 5. May provide assistance to other areas of campus support, including Academic & Student Affairs. 6. Maintains and updates shared list of all college employees including those who work at the campus (Middle & Early College, NC College System, etc.) 7. Familiarity with the student experience at Central Piedmont. 8. Maintains campus administration bulletin boards. 9. Received reports of class cancellations, posts, and removes class cancellations as needed. 10. Assists in tracking and following up on ABM work order submissions & revisions to ensure completion. 11. Communicates campus vending machine needs to the vendor (campus designee). 12. Utilizes Ad Astra software to request reservations for rooms and rental space on the campus. 13. Provides general support to campus facilities, as needed, to maintain common and shared break room spaces, MFPs, mail room, work room, and all other community spaces. 14. Maintains shared records of occupied and vacant offices or workspaces, approved moves, key requests and returns, and campus cabinets. 15. Assists in planning, support, and coordination of evening and weekend events, as needed. 16. Sorts regular mail delivery and follows up on abandoned packages. 17. Familiar with how to respond in emergencies and assists with emergencies as needed. 18. Assists and provides support with special events and provides clerical support for committees, special projects, and task forces. 19. Provides leadership to other clerical employees; serves as informational resource to staff. 20. Reviews and responds to in-coming correspondence; types and proofs correspondence, reports, and exams; assists in preparing comprehensive reports. 21. Processes forms and information; enters information into computer system. 22. Monitors activity of department to ensure all forms and reports are completed by deadline; assists in completing forms and reports. 23. Performs various administrative tasks including maintaining calendar, scheduling appointments, and arranging meetings. 24. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED and one year of related work experience.
- Working hours for this position may include evenings and weekend hours as directed.
