Job Description

Braun & Chamberlin, Inc. is seeking a dependable, conscientious, and organized individual for an entry-level Administrative Assistant / Office Support position. This role focuses on administrative responsibilities requiring an on-site presence, while also supporting management and team members who work remotely. As the employee becomes familiar with company procedures, responsibilities may expand to include Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable using QuickBooks Enterprise. The ideal candidate takes initiative, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and approaches their work with accuracy and professionalism — someone who can prioritize competing responsibilities, follow through on tasks, communicate effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision. Primary Responsibilities Office & Administrative Support Answer incoming calls and assist visitors, vendors, and deliveries Monitor important office deadlines and upcoming bid dates Coordinate office supply purchases and general office needs Provide administrative support to management and remote team members Job & Document Support Enter and maintain construction project information and files Prepare proposals, change orders, correspondence, and other business documents Organize and distribute incoming mail and correspondence Scan and forward documents to appropriate team members Qualifications Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy Strong organizational and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively Self-motivated and able to work independently Dependable, conscientious, and willing to learn Consistent attendance and punctuality (on-site position) Growth Opportunity As the employee becomes familiar with company procedures, this role may expand to include Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable using QuickBooks Enterprise. Previous accounting or QuickBooks experience is preferred.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
