Job Description
JOB DUTIES
- Coordinate truckload shipping with Line Haul Carriers and FedEx Line Haul or smaller shipments using LTL services such as FedEx Freight or FedEx Small Package.
- Communicate with carriers to secure transportation and update the Transportation Management System (OTM), shipping manifests, Bills of Lading and shipping calendars.
- Inbound and Outbound Load Planning for multiple business divisions.
- Update calendars and dock schedules in Excel.
- Maintain communication with supervision and peers to ensure efficient workflow.
- Report trends and issues to proactively avoid or head off potential problems.
- Provide information for various internal and external customers upon request.
- Partner with other departments to promote cross-departmental cooperation and ensure clear communication.
- Review Purchase Orders and/or Stock Transfer Orders created by Purchasing, Merchant and Inventory groups and create SAP deliveries.
KNOWLEDGE
Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Word. Managing files and records, etc. Customer Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing quality customer service.
