Front Desk Receptionist — Phillips Family Orthodontics Phillips Family Orthodontics is growing, and we're looking for the right person to join our front desk team. This is a patient-facing role that sets the tone for every visit. You're often the first voice a family hears and the last face they see on their way out, and that matters to us. Our practice is deeply rooted in the communities of Encinitas and Mira Mesa, and we've built our reputation on trust, transparency, and genuinely positive patient experiences. What you'll do You'll manage the flow of the front desk by answering phones, checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, and making sure every family leaves feeling informed and supported. Communicates clearly and professionally, both in person and on the phone Is comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment and takes pride in keeping things organized Follows through consistently and doesn't let details fall through the cracks Has at least one year of experience in orthodontics, dentistry, or customer-facing healthcare. However, we're happy to train the right person Operates with honesty and good judgment, and treats every patient interaction as an opportunity to represent the practice well Schedule, location, and compensation 32 hours per week, four days a week $22-24 per hour, based on experience This role splits time equally between our Encinitas and Mira Mesa locations Reliable transportation is required, as travel between offices is part of the position How to apply Please submit a current résumé and two to three professional references.
