Job Description
The Southern California Pipe Trades Administrative Corporation administers comprehensive benefits to members under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreements between Southern California Pipe Trades District Council #16 of the United Association of Journeyman and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada and Employers in the plumbing and pipefitting industry in Southern California. We are looking for a Receptionist for our office located near downtown Los Angeles.
EXPERIENCE & GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma (associate's degree preferred). Keen problem solver with ability to think on your feet. Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and capacity to maintain confidential information. Ability to expedite work to meet deadlines with minimum supervision. Positive attitude and capacity to remain calm under stressful conditions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel. Knowledge of Taft-Hartley employee benefits plans preferred.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The most significant responsibilities of this job classification are: Answer and route Operator incoming calls in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner. Greet and assist walk-in members. Track walk-in members and report to manager monthly. Organize reception work area and keep member booths tidy, organized and stocked with supplies and most current forms. Keep lobby area stocked, tidy and updated (forms, board, supplies). Assist in routing Customer Service Mail as needed. Assist in routing Accounting faxes. Back-up for ACOB processing as needed. Projects assigned by Manager/s as needed. Interact with other employees effectively to deliver excellent customer service. Participate in ongoing training opportunities Other responsibilities may be assigned by Management based on the individual's abilities.NOTES:
