Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front desk operations in a busy office setting. This contract position requires someone who creates a welcoming first impression, manages incoming communications, and helps keep administrative workflows organized. The ideal candidate is dependable, experienced, and comfortable handling a variety of clerical and customer-facing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors warmly, provide direction, and ensure a welcoming front office experience.
- Answer and route incoming calls, take accurate messages, and respond to general inquiries in a timely manner.
- Maintain the reception area so it remains orderly, presentable, and ready for guests throughout the day.
- Coordinate mail, deliveries, and other incoming correspondence, ensuring items reach the appropriate recipients.
- Support administrative activities such as scheduling, data entry, filing, and preparation of routine documents.
- Monitor office supplies at the front desk and request replenishment when needed to avoid disruptions.
- Assist internal teams with clerical tasks and help facilitate smooth day-to-day office operations. Requirements
- Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a courteous and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Comfortable using standard office software, phones, and general administrative tools.
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work effectively in a structured office setting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
