Job Description

Almonte Spa is currently seeking an experienced and professional Spa Receptionist to join our team. We offer massage, outdoor hot tubs, saunas and a gift shop. Exemplary customer service with an emphasis on retaining client relations is paramount. The Spa Receptionist is responsible for coordinating services and maintaining areas of the spa. Duties include greeting all clients, answering phone calls, assisting clients with questions regarding spa services and products, booking appointments, checking the client into the computer system and charging for services performed. Additional duties include laundry and management of hot tubs and saunas.
Position Requirements:
This is a Weekend position with occasional Evenings as needed. You must be comfortable working on your own during these times. Ability to handle busy phones Detail-oriented and have ability to multitask Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment Enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills Possess basic math and money handling skills Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and caring personality Excellent communication, listening and computer skills Able to work independently and in a team environment Non-sensitivity to chlorine or scents Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in written or verbal form Familiarity with booking software - SpaBooker a plus Reliable transportation Up to date COVID vaccinations and boosters a must
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Front Desk personnel or as a Customer Service representative
