Job Description

McKallen Medical Training Center is seeking a motivated, organized, and professional Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist for our new Rancho Cucamonga location. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, manage daily front desk operations, assist visitors and prospective students, respond to inquiries, and support student registration and onboarding. This position requires someone who takes initiative, maintains a proactive attitude, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist students, visitors, and prospective applicants Answer telephone calls, emails, and general program inquiries Assist prospective students throughout the registration and enrollment process Support student onboarding and orientation activities Schedule appointments and maintain organized records Enter and update student information accurately Assist with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other administrative tasks Provide information about available healthcare training programs Follow up with prospective students and support enrollment goals Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming front desk area Complete additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work in a very fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail and follow-through Strong sense of initiative and a proactive attitude Professional appearance and demeanor Sales, student recruitment, or enrollment experience is preferred Experience in healthcare, education, workforce development, or an administrative office is a plus High school diploma or equivalent required
Training:
The selected candidate will participate in onboarding and training provided in partnership with the County of San Bernardino. We are looking for a dependable team member who enjoys helping others, is comfortable speaking with prospective students, and is excited to support individuals beginning careers in healthcare.
Pay:
$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
