JOB OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for all front desk duties, including but not limited to greeting patients, collecting co-payments, updating notes in the patients' EMR, and other office duties as assigned.
Hours:
Temporary position beginning October 1-February 15th. Monday, Thursday and Friday 7:30-4pm ( 24 hours a week)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
1. Greets patients. 2. Checks patients in for their appointment. 3. Enters/verifies demographic information. 4. Enters/verifies insurance eligibility/ benefits. 5. Collects and posts co-payments. 6. Schedules patients. 7. Scans documents, makes copies and other general office duties. 8. Adheres to organizational policy with particular attention to standards of conduct and to confidentiality as it relates to
HIPAA. 9.
Other duties as assigned by the Director.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Personality and demeanor to deal with the public. Basic office skills such as typing and filing. Good organizational skills. Education 1. A high school diploma/GED required. Experience 2. Previous experience in a medical office is preferred. Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
