Job Summary Front Desk Receptionist - Law Firm Our client-focused law firm is looking for a dependable and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential to the daily operations of our office and combines front desk responsibilities with administrative support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills to create a welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and staff alike.
Responsibilities :
Greet clients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service and directing them appropriately Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, take messages, and transfer calls efficiently using professional phone etiquette Maintain a clean and organized reception area and conference rooms Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to support office operations with accuracy and attention to detail Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Aderant Total Office for scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping Assist with calendar management and appointment scheduling for attorneys Monitor office supplies, maintain inventory, and place orders as needed Handle clerical duties including copying, scanning, mailing, and maintaining organized digital and physical files Provide administrative support as needed, including personal assistant tasks or special projects
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience with office management, clerical work, or administrative roles in a professional setting Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Professional phone etiquette skills and experience managing multi-line phone systems Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and patience in handling inquiries or concerns while maintaining confidentiality Ability to manage time efficiently while juggling multiple responsibilities seamlessly Experience in a law firm or legal field is advantageous but not required; relevant personal assistant experience is also valued We value reliability, positivity, and someone who takes pride in being the welcoming face of our firm.
